Itinerary

Arrive at Moshi or Arusha. Meet your trekking team and guide. Attend a briefing covering trek logistics, packing, and safety. Overnight at your hotel.

Transfer to Marangu Gate, complete park formalities, and begin the trek through forested slopes. Observe monkeys, birds, and lush vegetation. Trek through scenic landscapes to reach Simba Camp.

Start around midnight for the summit attempt. Trek through lunar landscapes to Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point (5,895 m), just in time for sunrise. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Horombo Camp for rest.
